Chicago Triathlon Training Group     Accenture Triathlon Training Group - 2008 Max Group

Train with like-minded women for the 2010 Chicago Triathlon on August 29, 2010! Our 12-week group training program meets twice weekly for those competing in either the Sprint or Olympic distance.  Whether you are a beginner or experienced athlete, our program can help you achieve your goals! We have trained thousands of women just like you to achieve great things!

Our small training groups allow for maximum amounts of individual attention. Coaches cover all aspects of the triathlon in addition to training effectively with a heart rate monitor.  We provide an affordable, and rich training experience with professional, certified coaches.

Please note: If this is your first triathlon, we recommend starting with the Sprint distance training program. If you're seeking a new challenge, sign up for the Olympic distance training program.

What previous participants have to say about the 12-week Triathlon Training Program

"I can't believe the summer is almost over. As I think back and remember the training plans and all the feedback, tips and recommendations I want to say thank you. This has been a tremendous experience for me. I've already begun thinking about next summer and what I can do this winter so I don't completely lose everything I've gained. I had a lot of fun, I learned a lot but, most importantly, I can honestly say I look forward to the next training session and the next workout. So thanks — to you, the other coaches, workout leaders and the athletes." — Lois

"Thanks again for all of your support. I had such a wonderful experience in your training program and met so many incredible friends." —Diana

"I had estimated that I would finish around 3:45 and that sub 3:30 would be a real stretch. This is just based off my times during practice and what I was averaging. For example, I expected the swim alone (forget the running to the transition part) would take me 36 to 40 minutes and that I would be 14 to 16 mph on the bike which would be 1:40 to 1:50 on the bike. I also had a lot of anxiety about being able to finish and as well as not getting overwhelmed and flustered during the swim or not being comfortable in the wet suit. But I was able to relax a ton once I saw that the swim thinned out much more than I had expected and I just told myself to relax and enjoy it and "stick to my plan" like you said. But the swim felt good and I almost fell over when I looked at my watch once I got out and saw that my time was 31 minutes. Once I got to the bike I was on such a high all I could think was "who cares how the rest of the race goes, did you see my swim time!" and then I cruised on my bike. I felt I had a good speed going and a few times thought about slowing down because I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to keep it up but it felt good and I was drinking and eating and enjoying myself and every now and then looked down at my watch in disbelief that I was reading it right. By the time I hit the run I was starting to get emotional and when I saw your signs I almost lost it. By that point I was getting pretty overwhelmed with such a strong sense of accomplishment. I had completely exceeded my expectations. I'd pass a mile marker and would tear up. I walked for about 60 seconds each mile because I could feel my heart rate going up a little further than I really felt I could sustain and I was starting to feel tired and I wanted to have a strong finish. I finished in 3:13. My overall goal when I signed up was to finish the race smiling and feeling good and I accomplished that and then some. Thank you again, Renee, I couldn't have done it without you." — Jennifer
