Go long this season and train for the Racine Half Ironman or Muncie Half Ironman!  Join our 14-week Group Training Program for the either the Ironman 70.3 Racine, Door County Half Ironman or Ironman 70.3 Muncie (a half ironman distance event!). This is a proven group training program designed for those looking to move from sprint and olympic distance triathlons to the half iron distance. 

In addition to having a professionally coached program, everyone will meet in a group twice weekly for workouts to stay extra motivated.   We will go up to the race site several times to practice on the actual course and swim, bike and run.  We will have pool sessions, open water sessions, CompuTrainer(R) Cycling Sessions and Track workouts included in this program.

We have two levels in the program (beginner and intermediate). We limit our program to 12 women as we specialize in providing individual attention and support in a small group environment.  Hurry, we expect to sell out of this program early!  Doing Munice 70.3 instead?  No problem, we can adjust the program for that event!

    Suggested Starting Fitness Levels

    The half iron distance event is a challenging race and can be challenging in terms of time as well.  In order to make sure this half iron distance training program is for you, we want to be sure you are set for success from the beginning.  With this said, we have set some minimum fitness levels for all participants prior to joining this program.  At a minimum you should be able to complete prior to joining:

    • Completed at least one Olympic distance triathlon in the past year.
    • Able to swim 25-30 minutes non-stop at an easy pace.
    • Able to bike at least 1 hr 15 minutes nonstop at an easy pace.
    • Able to run or run/walk 45-60 minutes nonstop at an easy pace.
    • Have been working out most days of the week for at least 45-60 minutes daily.
    • Be prepared to commit at least 8-14 hours of training weekly to the program (14 at peak).

    Virtual Web Coaching

    Our virtual coaching program for these events.  You'll get quality, progressed and safe triathlon coaching for this popular event.  If you want a program to follow along online and are good at training independently, this is the program for you. You'll get a professionally designed 14-week training program to help your reach your performance goals.

    Here is what's included in our virtual web coaching:

    • Education on field assessments with heart rate training (which our program uses to train you safely!)
    • Get exclusive access to your new team via our online discussion board so you can support each other in reaching your individual goals and training milestones.
    • Get exclusive online access to your coach. That's right, your own coach!

    Details: 14 week virtuall program starts 14 weeks out from your event and cost is $175.00. You will need to purchase a heart rate monitor prior to the program as our program uses that as it's key methodology. TIP: Get one that shows heart rate and time on the same screen and has 5 zones!
